MEGABYTES the computer guys
Make the switch to Megabytes Web Services.

Getting started with a new web site can be a daunting task, one that may seem far more complicated than it actually is. So what do you have to provide Megabytes to get going on the Internet? For the most part, it's very simple. Think of your web site as a brochure, the requirements on the client for a web site are the same as if you were designing a new promotional brochure.

Getting Your Data to Megabytes

Obviously a great deal of information needs to be sent to Megabytes in order to get your web site looking its best. The most helpful portion of this data is photographs. This may seem obvious to businesses such as travel sites or caterers, however, regardless of your business, some photographs will go into the design of your site. Megabytes can use images of any common format. Megabytes also offers professional photography, in cooperation with G-Off Photography for any client needing new photos for use in publications or web services.

Megabytes offers two methods for clients to send data to Megabytes. If available, clients may email files, images, and other material directly to Megabytes. To guard against possible file-size limitations, Megabytes also offers direct file transfers for clients unable to transmit data via email.

Preparing for a Web Site

Signing a web contract brings a host of questions, the most important of which is "Who is your target audience?" Knowing who you intend to read your web site will determine much of the site's design, content, and complexity. Megabytes will work directly with you to identify the important characteristics of your audience and will then develop the best design to fit your specific needs.

While Megabytes is working on the design, the best way to prepare for the content is to develop an outline of your site. This outline doesn't have to be a final product, or a complete list of every page to be on your site, it's just an idea.
